Meet Our Peer Mentors
Here at Teen Innovators, our Peer Mentors are the stars of the show. They are high achieving older teens, ages 16 to 22, who are looking to give back to curious young teens. They are vetted and certified by Teen Innovators; trained in empathy and near peer mentoring.

Sebastian W.
Sebastian is aJunior at Lane Tech College Prep. Taking part in the Alpha STEM program offered at Lane, his studies focus on math and science, while maintaining a strong interest in music. In his free time, he is a member of the Lane Robotics team and enjoys learning about music theory. He also enjoys reading, video games, and collecting comic books.

Kate B.
Kate Bryar graduated from St. Ignatius College Prep and is a Senior at Northwestern University studying computer science and biology. Over the summer, she works at YMCA Camp Edwards as an overnight camp counselor, facilitating a fun summer on the lake while helping the campers build leadership skills. She loves baking, traveling, and running in her free time.

Zayra J.
Zayra is a college freshman studying neurobiology. She has spent her past summer working with a running organization as a junior coach. She enjoys motivating people as much as possible. She enjoys baking and loves to find new hobbies. She is very excited to be a part of teen Innovators and hopes to become a better leader.

Charlie P.
Charlie is a Junior at Lane Tech College Prep. He is in the Alpha STEM program and studies science and math. In his free time, he is on the Varsity Science Olympiad team and runs Lane Board Games Club. He also likes video games, documentaries, and reading books.

Stephany
Stephany is a freshman at Ponoma College and graduated from Lindblom Math and Science Academy in Chicago. She worked as an intern at Google over the summer and enjoys reading, writing and thinking of new business ideas.

Clark P.
Clark graduated from The Latin School of Chicago and he is currently a Freshman at Indiana University. He played baseball and golf and is a part of the architecture club as well as the sports debate club. Clark’s favorite class in school is Data Visualization and Analysis. Clark enjoys hanging out with friends and occasionally playing video games and sports with them.

Ethan S.
Ethan graduated from Whitney Young High School and is currently a sophomore at the Fashion Institute of Technology studying communication design. He was a member of IntuiTeens, a summer program at Intuit: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art, and The Art Institute Teen Council, where he led museum engagements and workshops about different artworks and artists all over the city. During his free time, he loves to bike, go to the beach and listen to music.

Sabine R.
My name is Sabine Ramirez and I attend Purdue University and major in engineering. I am passionate about creating social change through technology and robotics. I am a part of my university's NSBE Go Karting Team and other engineering organizations. In my free time I love to weight lift, spend time with family, and code.
